Job Summary:

Our non-medical in-home care organization is rapidly growing, and we have an immediate need for dedicated and experienced caregivers. We work with clients of all backgrounds and ages, especially seniors 65+ who require daily care in their homes including companionship, assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping and more. This role focuses on supporting a client’s well-being, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, and providing emotional support and social interaction.  If you enjoy building and establishing relationships and providing quality care, we invite you to submit your resume for immediate consideration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Engaging clients by conversing in meaningful conversations with them.

 

    • Planning and attending to clients as they participate in appropriate social activities and hobbies.

 

    • Assisting with daily activities including basic housekeeping, such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, organizing, and laundry.

 

    • Taking a genuine interest in clients by listening to their needs, ensuring that their environment is clean and safe.

 

    • Supporting clients with proper food prep and medication reminders.

 

    • Reporting any developments or concerns to appropriate parties to company supervisor.

 

    • Ongoing emotional support for clients as they heal or cope with their conditions.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

The ideal caregiver should have at least 1 year of experience in Health Care, Home Care, Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Senior Living Industry or 2 years Lived Experience caring for a loved one.

    • Clean criminal and background check.

 

    • Clean DMV Report

 

    • Proof of TB Test taken within the last 6 months showing clear results.

 

    • Health screening prior to providing care to clients.

 

    • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and families.

 

    • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

 

    • The ability to provide compassionate and caring service.
